Partick Beat -
in “Mainstreaming the Arts” Partick Beat wish to encourage people to experience
music and rhythm from all over the world. By providing drumming workshops
they meet the needs of various community based groups. The “heartbeat” rhythm
of the drumming encourages people to express themselves in a way no other
medium has the capacity to achieve. It’s calming, soothing or awakening
- it works as a means of communication for those with sensory impairment.
